Colors of Austin Counseling
is a community-centered mental health collective committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive therapy services to individuals, couples, and families in person and online across Texas.
Rooted in a deep understanding of the systemic and generational impacts of trauma, our collective centers the lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, Communities of Color, LGBTQIA+ communities, first-generation professionals, and those navigating complex identities. Our team of diverse and highly skilled clinicians creates affirming spaces where clients can feel safe, seen, and supported in their healing journeys.
In addition to direct therapy services, we invest in the growth of future mental health leaders through clinical supervision, mentorship, and community partnerships that align with our values of equity, integrity, and collective care. At Colors of Austin Counseling, we believe healing is not just individual—it’s also communal.
Our Commitment to racial justice
We affirm the humanity of Black people.
We choose courage over comfort.
We commit to doing the work moving forward, without pause.
Real change happens when we are able to sit with the discomfort. When we speak truth to bullshit. When we, as mental health professionals, have conversations about race with clients. When we acknowledge our imperfections, and when we listen to and believe Black people's stories and thoughts.
We understand the importance of amplifying voices of the Black community. Moving forward, we will continue to highlight Black people's experiences and impactful work, and we will share resources that do the same. We look forward to learning, unlearning, and growing with all of you!
