Thrive Together: Grounding the Person in the Therapist | Sat. 11/9
Thrive Together: Grounding the Person in the Therapist | Sat. 11/9
Location: Autonomy Movement
Date: Saturday, November 9th
Time: 10:30am - 1:15pm
How do we nourish ourselves to keep showing up? We are driven, passionate and work hard, and perhaps that’s a mechanism to numb or avoid, but we can carry the weight of the world (and of our business!) on our backs. It takes work, conscious effort and mindfulness to embrace the softer side of our human selves to keep going. How do we nurture both sides of the person?Join us for the fourth Thrive Together panel discussion in collaboration with Autonomy Movement, which will explore the journey of several clinicians at various stages of expanding into group practice. We’ll share tips on where to get started and the biggest thing we’ve learned throughout our own unique process.
Our hope for this event is to provide a safe space for fellow mental health professionals and healers to ask questions and engage in honest conversation around what it means to care for the person in the therapist. We hope you may walk away feeling a sense of common humanity and truly seen as a person, business owner and healer.
Vanessa Flores of Colors of Austin Counseling is the brainchild of this event series, and she knows how possible it is to grow your business if you’re clear about WHY you want to it, and she wants to share some of those insights with others. This will be a safe space to ask and share openly about the money side of private practice and some of those other harder-to-discuss topics that are truly beneficial.
Who will be on the panel?

YOGA INSTRUCTOR: Lara Gould, RYT-200
HOST: Kim Gould, LMFT
