Hi! My name is Anoosh Razian and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am originally from Iran and moved to Texas when I was 10 years old. I am dedicated to offering unwavering support to all clients on their distinctive journey, all while understanding the unique experience of being an immigrant and navigating two or more cultures and identities.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and relational. It is a privilege and an honor to walk alongside clients on their journey towards healing and personal growth. I hold the belief that healing begins with compassion and a safe and nurturing space. With a warm and caring approach, I prioritize creating a safe and open space for clients to explore, heal, and evolve. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, empathy, and genuine care. With an open heart and a listening ear, I provided a non-judgmental space for clients to freely express thoughts and emotions, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with newfound strength. I incorporate elements of attachment, EMDR, mindfulness, self-compassion, Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method, ACT, and CBT to help clients learn and use tools to support them in their day-to-day life.
In my free time I like to spend time with family and friends, biking, eating good food, and reading. I’m a mom of two and together we enjoy family biking adventures and exploring Austin’s parks and playgrounds.
